ABES S.À R.L. PUBLIC DESIGN

Founded in 1994, the company ABES has focused since 1999 on designing elements for public spaces. To meet customer needs, ABES developed the special 3p Technology, for which it obtained a patent. This technical innovation allows for the refurbishment of public furniture at a competitive price, as it is simple and quick. The idea: the bollards are equipped with a junction piece featuring an integrated break point. In the event that a bollard is struck, the object and its foundations remain intact; only the junction piece needs to be replaced on-site. Innovation is also the motto of ABES for urban furniture design: these are unique products that possess their own character. This was confirmed by the "Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen," which awarded the "red dot" design award to the Range-bicycle 450-1 and the Bollard 001-1 equipped with 3p Technology. For the manufacturing of the products, various high-quality materials are used. In addition to galvanized steel or stainless steel and selected woods, ABES primarily works with cast iron and aluminum. Castings, sometimes forgotten, have unique characteristics that are not easily achievable through welding: cast iron allows for the creation of virtually limitless shapes and designs, resulting in delicate and modern objects.
