Planetary gearing for stepper motors

When selecting a suitable motor, using just the retaining torque is not enough, as the motor’s torque decreases with the speed. It is therefore essential to select the correct motor according to the torque curve.

The plain bearings and spindle nuts are suitable for dry running, however lubrication with a grease for plastic plain bearings is recommended. The rounded shape of the tooth contour provides a particularly high degree of safety against incorrect tooth interlocking, combined with a very rounded tooth mesh.
